NYS Standard Debtor Search

NOTE: This search option provides the ability to search and receive the same results as would be provided by an "official" search performed by our office. The search logic used in the UCC NYS Standard Debtor Search is the "standard search logic" of this office. Unlike the base word, begins with, and partial searches, this search requires the exact name of the debtor being searched. All words in the name must be in the order stored in the database.

Lapsed UCC filings and lapsed federal tax lien filings are retained in our data base for at least one year following lapse, as required by UCC Section 9-522. In many cases, we will retain filings for as long as five years and one month after the lapse date.

Certain filings which lapsed more than one year ago, but which are still included in our data base, do not include the address record for the debtor or secured party. Please note that an address-specific search request for all filings against such a debtor will not return such filings.

In these locations you would enter the name of the individual being searched. These fields are not case sensitive and the name(s) can be entered in upper, lower or mixed case.
